Warm welcome by the staff even we walked in close to their closing hours. Staff is helpful in making recommendation. The desserts are really good especially the kedondong dessert. Well balanced flavours and textures. It was a good experience even the prices are on the steeper side. Definitely coming back to try other desserts.

Cozy place to enjoy your dessert. Layers of taste for each master piece. The apple cinnamon, thin layer of skin, follow by cream/cheese, cold apple cube in crushed ice. Freezing feel follow by lime soury taste. Match green tea, rich cold topping with warm cake + red beans. Wonderful experience altogether.

We had an early dinner and weren’t quite ready to head back. We walked passed this little cute dessert shop and decided to go in. I would say this is quite different from what you are normally used to. What a great place to have dessert after if you are around this area! The desserts are excellent. Mad hatter serve their dessert very creatively. The taste may not suit those who like their desserts very sweet, because their offerings have well balanced flavours rather than overwhelming taste. I prefer it that way. Compliments to the Master chef!

Had a takeaway coffee from this minimalistic and yet charming cafe. The coffee is GOOD. I would say it is better than most cafe including some fancy ones. Lots of nice looking dessert here, plus some sandwiches and pizza but I had my lunch earlier so did not have any of them. Moreve, I m not a dessert person but will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

Despite the distance, I always make time to visit Mad Hatter Desserts whenever I can. Famous for their desserts, they now offer a range of savory meals. Marcus, the founder, uses unique local ingredients, including rare fruits and herbs, to create standout dishes. I especially love their baked goods, such as the almond croissant, spring onion brioche, matcha red bean cake and the must-have sourdough loaf to keep in the pantry. All things are delicious here !

Desserts pretty on plate, too pretty to eat Run by MasterChef Asia's runner-up Marcus Wong who loves making desserts, this is another dessert place that I would go once in a while. Located in the notorious busy area of Damansara Utama, this dessert place offers sweetness galore to those with sweet tooth. The young ones were ooh and aah upon setting their sights on the beautiful creations such as Chocolate Calamansi, Strawberry & Cheese, among others.. all neatly displayed in the glass cabinet display where one can point and choose. But I just chose their decadent brownie served with a scoop of ice cream this time while sipping a glass of flat white. Not too sweet yet moist and delicious; and the sight of "love" (or heart) coffee art on the cup made the entire afternoon

This hidden gem of a dessert cafe in Damansara Uptown needs to be shouted about, because the two desserts that we tried were excellent. Firstly, the cafe was very clean and kept to a minimalist theme, no doubt because the main star were the desserts themselves. The Claypot Rice was a very clever play on the actual dish, and came with a clear explanation on the flavours plus a grand reveal! Whereas the Pineapple Creme Fraiche married together both sweet and slightly sour to create a fabulous dessert from a fruit I otherwise don't like. Both desserts were too pretty to eat, but eat we did. Kudos to Marcus, who patiently explained each dessert's ingredients and flavour profile, and we'll definitely be back with empty stomachs to try more of their offerings!

Aside from dessert which May Hatter is famous for, there are now numerous savoury and cafe-style meals available. Interestingly, the owner (a former Masterchef contestant) has incorporated many local ingredients into his creations. Lots of rare local fruits and herbs we urbanites have never heard of, so a dining experience here can be enlightening. The baked goods are excellent as is the cold cuts platter. As expected, the cakes are superb and unique compared to more common ones found elsewhere.
